Without a doubt, the longest I've ever worked on a single image, and to be honest, I still feel it needs more work, but I am done. Need to get back to work on more practice images.
On the subject matter, I've slowly come to the realization that I love the fusion of the sweet with the macabre. The idea of darkness trying to get in touch with something more positive or meaningful without it being all angsty or emo-ish. I wanted the image to feel dark, but at the same time whimsical, a true representation of the european feudalism period. Or something...
Anyways, it's an image about a weird monster who kidnaps children and forces them to have tea parties with it.
"Dirt" is still in progress, but it's slowed due to artist's cowardice. Hopefully It'll pass.

this is amazing! You see thing in an order. 'bright pink tea, little girl, monster pouring tea' it's oddly innocent in a way.
one thing about it; it creeps me the hell out. This is personal because I saw a bit of salad fingers when I was little (to which I've never fully recovered) and things like this reminds me of it.
the thigs that creep me out:
A dark atmosphere full of bright tones
old mannequin torsos
unnaturally long, thin fingers
and an oddly specific one: non-human things pouring tea. o.O
and I just noticed the lizard in the teapot
ewwwwww
I think it would've had extra impact if the tea was... Slightly chunky? Or discoloured in areas
